Mausware Re-evaluates Funding for Finger Maus ULTRA

On December 2, 2025 Mausware held its first Stakeholders Meeting. The meeting was attended by professionals representing e-commerce, art and design, 3D printing and model making, disability and veterans’ advocacy, mental health and education. On the meeting’s agenda were several topics, including details about product criteria for its Finger Maus ULTRA, plus a brief market analysis and discussion about the future of wearable tech, and news about Mausware’s decision to consider other startup funding opportunities instead of its initial plan to fund through an Indiegogo product launch.

The decision to change the company’s startup funding strategy occurred in large part, because in August 2025, a month before Mausware’s Indiegogo launch date, Mausware became aware that Indiegogo had been sold to Gamefound. At first it seemed this would not be an issue, but soon discovered that Gamefound changed some key terms of agreement, and that they also limited any new fundraising campaigns in October. Mausware decided to change the crowdfund date to gain clarity, which only led to uncertainty with the new Indiegogo-Gamefound platform. As a result, Mausware has decided to seek private investment instead of startup fundraising through Indiegogo.
